Kampot pepper is divided into three primary colors, differentiated by the processing of the fruit of the pepper vine. Black pepper is harvested when the peppercorns are still green. Subsequently they are dried in the fierce Cambodian sun, where they acquire their characterictic black color and crusty surface. Thanks to a careful selection that meets the strict quality requirements for pepper exported from Kampot, as set by the Kampot Pepper Association, only the finest grains are always handpicked. These are then vacuum sealed to maintain quality and freshness during the journey to Europe, where they are further selected, packaged, and delivered right to your table.

Each type of Kampot pepper has its own unique flavor and aroma, which are rarely found in the pepper bought at regular supermarkets. After grinding, black pepper releases notes of eucalyptus, camphor, and thyme, accompanied by the scent of lime zest. These gradually transition into a coastal aroma with evolving fruity tones. The dominant notes are peach and nectarine, complemented by the scent of pine and earthy tones from the mineral-rich Cambodian mountain soil.
